GALLATIN, Tenn. — Elizabeth Anita Miller passed away peacefully at her home in Gallatin, Tenn., on Jan. 3, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Liz was born and raised in Anderson and was a 1978 graduate of Anderson High School. She made her home in Gallatin, Tenn., where she was a long-time registered nurse at Sumner Regional Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marylin Haston.

She is survived by her children, Mackenzie Gustafson and Drew Miller; her father, Bill Haston; and sisters, Patsy York, Teresa Eutsler and Billie Haston.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Gallatin, Tenn.

In lieu of flowers, Liz asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Services in Anderson are pending at this time.
