Obituary: Thomas "Tim" DONLEY (January 6, 1927 - April 8, 2011);
Thomas "Tim" DONLEY 84, of Main Street, Wellsburg, WV, passed away April 8, 2011 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
He was born January 6, 1927 in Wellsburg, WV to the late Anna FINN and Charles B. DONLEY. He retired from Weirton Steel as a security guard after 20 years of service, was a Presbyterian by faith, an Army veteran serving during World War II, and a member of the Wellsburg Elks Lodge where he was a former manager.
In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his wife Betty DOBSON RICHMOND DONLEY who passed away July 31, 2004. One daughter-in-law Barbara DONLEY, Four brothers Charles "Red" DONLEY, John DONLEY, William DONLEY, and Paul DONLEY, and one sister Ruth LAZEAR.
He is survived by two sons Ron DONLEY and his wife Joyce of Atlanta, GA, and Kirt DONLEY and his wife Kimberly Dawn of Wellsburg, WV, one Brother Howard E. "Wink" DONLEY of Arlington, VA, Five Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 from 4-8pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. The Funeral Service will be held 11 am Tuesday April 12, 2011 at the Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Gibb officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV, with Full Military Graveside Rites by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
