Ellis "Mack" McClellan Eaton passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the age of 84, after a long illness and a happy life. Mack was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, on January 20, 1928 to Richard and Esther Eaton.
Mack graduated from Claremore High School in 1945 and joined the U.S. Merchant Marines, where he served for nine years. He was also a corporal in the U.S. Army, where he served two years in the Korean War. Following his service in the military, Mack earned his Associate's Degree in Electrical Maintenance from Oklahoma A&M College in Okmulgee. He spent his entire working career as a licensed and skilled electrician in the Sapulpa area.
Mack's hard work will be remembered by all, as well as his selfless desire to always help those around him.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; his granddaughter; his granddaughter and her husband; his great-grandson; and his sister-in-law.
Mack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ellen Eaton; his father, Richard Eaton; his mother, Esther Eaton; his brother, Richard Eaton; and his nephew, Lyle Eaton.

A celebration of his life will be held on 2 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 1208 S. Main St., Sapulpa.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa.
