DUPREE, Mrs., formerly Miss Norris, wife of Mr. Milton Dupree, died at her home near Rocky Mount a few days ago; Vol. 24, No. 22, May 8, 1896. In a memorial by Leila Owen in this later issue: Mrs. M. A. Dupree, a member of the Primitive Baptist church, died on the morning of May 3rd; Vol. 24, No. 25, May 29, 1896

2. William Drury DuPree, b. 10 Sep 1874, Meriweather, Georgia , d. 12 Oct 1926, Greenwood, Greenwood, South Carolina. William married Katie L. Crum, who was b. Jul 1878, Georgia. They married on 25 Oct 1896 in Coweta County, Georgia. They had at least the following children:

- 2. Ethel Austine DuPree, b. About 1910, Griffin, Georgia who married Edward John Adair, b. About 1904, Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia. They had a son Edward Adair, b. About 1929, Virginia.

- 3. Maggie Sue DuPree, b. 12 Mar 1913, Georgia , d. 10 Sep 1930, Jacks, Laurens, South Carolina

3. Charles Harvey Deupree, b. 29 Apr 1877, Meriwether County, Georgia , d. 17 Feb 1912, Rocky Mount, Meriwether, Georgia

4. Milton Allen Deupree, b. 16 Jun 1881, Meriweather, Georgia , d. 1963, East Point, Georgia

5. Nancy Elizabeth "Nan Lizzie" Deupree, b. About 1888, Georgia who married James Andrew Brown who was b. About 1880, Georgia. They had a daughter Ellen Elizabeth Brown b. 7 Oct 1911, Georgia , d. Nov 1984, Jackson, Butts, Georgia who married James Albert Landers, b. About 1913, d. 12 Oct 1983, Fulton, Georgia. They also had several more children.

6. Julius Wooster DuPree, b. 12 Apr 1893, Rocky Mount, Meriwether, Georgia , d. 19 Oct 1950, Miami, Dade, Florida
