James Repse Davis of Holdenville Oklahoma passed away January 7, 2013 in the Holdenville General Hospital. James was born in Spaulding Oklahoma on May 1, 1928 to Pete and Annie Mae Shores Davis. He attended Spaulding Schools and later joined the Navy. James spent his working years as an electrician working at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. He married Aline Orsburn on August 17, 1948 and served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Aline Imogene Davis of the home. Two daughters, Beverly and husband Lynn Wyatt of Norman, Oklahoma, and Tereice and husband Terry Hickman of Guthrie Oklahoma. One son, Perry Roger Davis of the home.
Eight grandchildren and nineteen great grand children
Other survivors are: one brother, Kenneth Davis of Oklahoma City, and one sister, Helen Putman of Tennessee. Preceding him in death are his parents, one son, one sister and seven brothers.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm January11, 2013 at the Midway Baptist Church with interment in the Holdenville Cemetery.
