Elizabeth Boyer, 60, of Parsons died at 9:53 a.m. Sunday, Sept 7, 2008 at Labette Health.
She earned an associate's degree from Labette Community College in Parsons. She worked as a secretary for ETS (Educational Testing Service), a company that designs SAT college entrance exams.
Survivors include a son, James Jason Cook of Bordentown, N.J.; three grandchildren; three brothers, James Catt of Wichita, Carl Catt of Kansas City, Mo., and Victor Boyer of Bordentown, N.J.; and a sister, Patricia Wilson of Rockford, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her biological and adopted parents. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a future date. Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons is in charge of arrangements.
