Gerald Keating Rites Are Held
L. Gerald Keating, of School road, Victor, retired farmer, died suddenly at his home Sunday morning, March 17, following two days illness. He was 59.
Born in the town of Victor, November 27, 1897 he was the son of the late Catherine Sullivan and Jeremiah Keating. Having retired from farming in Farmington 12 years ago, he moved to Victor and had been employed by the Victor Food Corporation, the Victor Insulators, Inc., and he carried mail from the local post office to the New York Central.
Mr. Keating was a life long member of St. Patrick's church, Victor.
Survivors are a sister Bernadette, and a brother Walter, with whom he made his home; one aunt, Miss Nora Keating of Fairport.
Funeral service was held at 9:30, Wednesday morning at the Tischer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's church. Interment in St. Patrick's cemetery.
