CHARLES HILDEBRAND DIES AT HOSPITAL; Blood Poisoning, Following Abscess, Causes Death of Young Benedict; BRIDEGROOM OF A YEAR - An illness of only a few days' duration resulted in the death at the Memorial Hospital, shortly before 2 o'clock this afternoon, of Charles G. Hildebrand, of 665 Main street. He was aged 24 years, eight months, and 10 days. An especially sad fact is that the young man had been married a year ago almost to the day. Friday would have been the first anniversary of his wedding with Miss Jessie Crofford, daughter of Elder and Mrs. W.A. Crofford, of Moxham. Mr. Hildebrand was employed in the Franklin plant of the Cambria Steel Company, and had been working up to Monday. A boil or abscess in the left shoulder proved serious. He was taken to the hospital yesterday and the infected part was lanced and cleansed carefully. It became apparent that the poison from the infection had spread through his system. Today he became worse and was delirious much of the time up to his death. Charles Hildebrand was a son of James and Sophronia Luke Hildebrand. Besides his wife and father he is survived by one sister, Catherine, at home. Arrangements for the funeral had not been made this afternoon.
