George Yancheson, Swoyerville, Dies.

George Yurchisin, 46 who suffered a broken back in a mine accident, October 4, 1934, died early yesterday morning (Jan 14, 1938) at his home, 29 Scott Street, Swoyersville.

Mr Yurchisin was born in Rešov, Bardejov, Slovakia to Andreas and Susanna (Ondis) Yurchisin (Jurcsisin). He had been a resident of the West Side since coming to this country nearly 30 years ago. He was one of the founders of St. Nicholas' Greek Catholic Church of Swoyerville.

Surviving are his wife, Mary (Havrilla) Yurchisin and four loving children: Mary, Joseph, Helen, and Anna. A brother, Andrew of Czechoslovakia. Two sisters: Mrs Susan (John) Babuscak (Memorial# 103340734) of Wilkes-Barre and Mrs Anna (John) Yurenko (Jurenko) of Olean, NY. A niece, which he was the sponsor for her immigration, Anna (Ondis) Konsevitch of Hanover Green.

He was predeceased by a brother, Peter.

The funeral will be Monday morning at 9 am with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Nicholas' Church, Rev Rudolph Rantagh officiating. Interment in St Mary's G.C. Cemetery, Dallas.
