Charles (Charley) Booth, 92, of Mt. Liberty community, Phillippi Rt. 2, died at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 3, in Broaddus Hospital. Born in Barbour County, November 19, 1878, he was a son of the late David and Mary Kelley Booth. His wife, Bertie Weese Booth, preceded him in death.
Surviving are four sons, Dorsey Booth, Bertsell Booth, Isaac Booth, and Richard Booth, all of Phillippi Rt. 2; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Carrie) Wagner of Phillippi Rt. 2, Mrs. Harry (Jessie) Everson of Belington Rt. 3; one brother, Wade Booth of Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Weese of Belington; 34 grandchildren and 82 great-grandchildren. Two sons, three brothers and one sister are deceased.
Mr. Booth was a member of the Mt. Liberty Church of Christ, and was a retired farmer and coal miner.
