Lena and Roscoe lived on a farm. She also worked in a cotton mill. Lena was my great aunt, she was like a grandmother to me. I can still remember how good her Sunday dinners were. She would make fried chicken and I can still hear the pressure cooker on the stove filled with green beans from her garden. She made a big pan of biscuits each morning for breakfast and would cover all the biscuits leftover with a towel in a basket which we'd eat with supper.
