Mr. Hutchings was a maintenance man at the Firth Carpet Company plant. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Cayuga County Sportsmen's Association and active in that organization, serving on a number of committees.
Mr. Hutchings is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Meehan Hutchings; two brothers, Joseph Hutchings of Auburn and Walter Hutchings of Attica; and four sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Rothery, Sr., Mrs. George C. Pearson, Jr., Mrs. David Hamilton and Mrs. Fred Taylor, all of Auburn.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home, 31 First Avenue, Rev. Albert A. Chambers, rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Fleming.
