FRIEDHOFER , CARRIE (NEE RICHTER), 92, of South Egg Harbor, passed away Saturday, October 16, 1999 at Absecon Manor. She was born in Galloway Twp. and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Friedhofer was a seamstress and sewing machine operator for Louis Cantor & Sons of Egg Harbor City for over 39 years and a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Egg Harbor City and L.C.W. sewing club at Church. She was very active with South Egg Harbor Fire Ladies, Pomona Senior Citizens, Egg Harbor Senior Citizens, Ocean View Home Society, and a Volunteer at Egg Harbor Nutrition Meal Site.
Mrs. Friedhofer is survived by her daughter, Carol Tharp of Cumberland, Maryland and her grandson, Cyril Bonetski of Northfield. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 19 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (965-0357) where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 AM Tuesday. Interment will follow at Germania Cemetery, Galloway Twp.
