Herbert G. "Jet" Bibler
Herbert G. "Jet" Bibler, 54, died Friday in Missoula at the Community Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 26, 1937, in Hamilton, the son of Ronald and Pauline Hayward Bibler. He was raised in Darby, graduated from Wasatch Academy High School in Utah in 1955, and attended two years at the University of Montana.
Most of his life was spent in the Darby area. He worked with his father in the logging industry for about 15 years before he began operating his own Bibler Trucking Co.
On April 27, 1979, he married Birdie Kadrmas Quicksoll from Darby.
He was a member of the Hamilton Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Birdie, of the family home at Darby; one son, Jet Bibler Jr. of Darby; one stepson, Jack Hatzenbueler of Darby; one stepdaughter, Brenda Welty of Darby; one sister, Helen Bibler of Hamilton; two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1973, his mother in 1974, and his brother, Douglas, in 1966.
Services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Daly-Leach Chapel. Urn placement will follow at the Lone Pine Cemetery at Darby.
