Hazel Ruth Battershell, 64, of 984 W. College St., was pronounced dead on arrival at the City Hospital yesterday at 8:45 p.m. after six weeks illness.
The daughter of the late Walter A. and Minnie K. Rumpf Baker, she was born in Alliance, May 7, 1902 and resided in the Alliance area all her life.
She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles W., of the home.
