Martha Alexander Baggett, age 85, of Altha, Florida passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Altha. Martha was a lifelong resident of Altha and was a member of Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was retired from Baggett's Group Home where she worked for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, James Will and Nora Mae (Spivey) Alexander; two sons, James Franklin Sangster and Robert Sangster; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, James and Bill Alexander; and three sisters, Helen Rabon, Evelyn Ribnbark, and Edith Williams.

Survivors include a son, John Derek Sangster of Altha; daughters, Janice Atwell and her husband, Tom of Blountstown, Florida, Sherry Grover and her husband, James, Jr., also of Blountstown, and Debbie Barfield of Altha; fifteen grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, George Alexander of Pensacola, Florida and Jerry Alexander of Sneads, Florida; and a sister, Betty Yager of Dade City, Florida.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Sunny Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church in Altha with Reverend Larry Broome officiating. Interment will follow in Sunny Hill Cemetery.
