Miss Carrie B. Osgood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Osgood of Oak street, died suddenly at Millers River hospital at Winchendon last week Friday, following a operation. Miss Osgood was a native of Pelham, where she was born January 28, 1884. She came to Greenfield with her parents -------------------------------------------taught in the Greenfield public schools for several years, and taught at Whately and Winchendon. The body was borough to Greenfield and the funeral held Tuesday at the home of her parents, 17 Oak street. Rev C. Oscar Ford of the Methodist church officiated. The burial was in Green River cemetery.------------------------ several brothers and sisters.
