She died on March 14, 2005 at a St. Helens Care Center at the age of 89.
She was educated in Arkansas and Oklahoma moving to Bandon, OR. in 1933, living there all of her life. She has been here for a year to be close to her daughter.
She married Ernest on 10/13/36 in Coquille, OR., she worked for an attorney, Harry Slack in Coquille, OR.; and they had a cranberry farm until they retired in '73.
She was a member of First Church of God in Bandon, where she taught sunday and bible school.
They were members of the Cranberry Growers Association; she enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.
Survived by Husband: Ernest Storm of Gresham; Daughter: Beverly Eagle of St. Helens; Son: Conrad Storm of Coquille, OR; Sister: Ruth Clemmons of Portland, OR.; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
