MISS ELIZABETH L. WENNER
Miss Elizabeth L. Wenner, Martin Road, died at 7 a. m. Monday at the home of her brother, Edward J. Wenner, 302 Franklin street, of a heart ailment. She was 67 years old.
She had lived here for 10 years She was taken to her brother's home Sunday because of her illness.
The daughter of Christian and Margaret (Colkey) Wenner, she was born Jan. 17, 1875, near Garrison, la., and lived at Garrison and Vinton all her life before moving here
She was educated in Vinton public schools and Tilford academy at Vinton and taught in rural schools in the Vinton vicinity for three years.
Surviving are three brothers: Edward J.; Carl O., Vinton; and Frank, Washington, D. C.
The parents and another brother, Leroy are dead.,
The body was taken to the Parrott & Wood funeral home. The funeral is tentatively set for Tuesday at Vinton, where burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
