Mrs. Cora Grammer, 78, of Campbellsville, Route 6, daughter of the late Mr. Elmer Chapman and Mrs. Ada Bennett Chapman, was born in Columbus, Ohio, March 24, 1900. She died at 12:20 p.m., Monday, May 29, 1978, at the Taylor County Hospital. She had been a patient there for the past five weeks. She had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Clifford Grammer in March 1945. One daughter, Mrs. Priscilla Kappleman, preceded her mother in death in 1966. Surviving are her husband: Mr. Clifford Grammer of Campbellsville, Route 6; one son and one daughter: Mrs. Charles (Beulah) Harrison of Campbellsville, Route 6, and Mr. Bruce Strong of Lebanon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel by Rev. Wayne Oldham and Rev. Steve Sheldon. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
