night in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She was the mother of Frank P.
Hazelton of Clarion, Pa.; Mrs. George
L. Jackson of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Ben
F. Hazelton jr. of Clarion, Pa., and
Mrs. Clarissa H. Howells of Clarion,
all of whom survive with the following
brothers and sisters: William C.
Purple and Hattie H. Purple of Bradf-
ord, Mrs. D. Lloyd Jones of Hought-
on, Mich., Frank E. Purple of Seatt-
le, Wash., and Mrs. Charles E. Hamil-
ton of Los Angles, Cal. Mrs. Grace
Wells and Mrs. David Bradley of
Bradford are nieces of the deceased.
Her husband, B. F. Hazelton, was
a prominent lumberman during the
early days of Bradford. They came
here in 1878 and Mr. Hazelton died
here about 24 years ago.

Funeral services for the late Mrs.
B. F. Hazelton a former will known
resident of Bradford, whose death occ-
urred in St. Petersburg, Fla., were
held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock
at the home of her brother, W. C.
Purple of School street: The Rev. S.
A. Keen of the First Methodist Church
officiated. A large number of friends
were present at the services. The
casket was surrounded By many beautiful
floral tributes which had been
sent to the home by sorrowing friends.
The body was laid to rest in Oak Hill:
Pall bearers were B. F. Hazelton jr.,
Franklin Hazelton, W. C. Pyrple;
George L. Jackson, David H. Bradley
and F. P. Hazelton. Out of town relatives
and friends here to attend the
funeral were Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Hazelton,
Mrs.Clarissa Howells, and B. F.
Hazelton jr. of Clarion; Mr. and Mrs.
