Loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend, Arlene will be missed by many. She never allowed anyone to leave her home hungry.
She and her husband Lou made a point of welcoming new agents to Canada Border Services Agency at the Nelway Port of Entry, and often sent over meals and treats, not to mention invitations to their home, which had been one of the former Customs houses.
The funeral service was held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Trail BC. Celebrant was Father Jim McHugh.
The service was truly a celebration of Arlene's life. Her family remembers her with love and affection, as do all who knew her.
