Funeral services for Augustus McGrath, age sixty-six, 919 Shelby Street, who died Thursday at the City Hospital as the result of injuries, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mr. McGrath was struck when he stepped from the curb at Virginia and Woodlawn avenues, by an automobile driven by Harry Zavela, who was not held.
Mr. McGrath was born in Kentucky and had lived in Indianapolis twenty years. He was employed at the Riverside park nursery. He formerly was a contractor and was a member of St. Patrick's parish.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Anna McGrath; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Shane and Mrs. Arch Johnson, Indianapolis, Mrs. Margaret Jolly, Kansas City; a son, John McGrath, Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Hamilton, Frankfort Ky.; and Miss Katherine McGrath, Chicago, and Miss Mary McGrath, Griffin, Ga.; a brother, Nicholas McGrath, Chicago, and six grandchildren.
