Carlton Ward Jennings, 90, of Tempe, passed away on November 27, 2006. He was a World War II veteran and participated in D-Day operations. Carlton's interests included woodworking, gardening, golfing, and cooking. He owned a restaurant as well as 5 machine shops. Carlton is survived by his wife Elissa Rose Jennings of 32 years, sons Daniel George (Marilyn) Jennings and Carlton Ward Jennings Jr., stepson William James (Leilani) Rogers, stepdaughters Rena Jane Rogers, Diana Sue (Don) Sutton, and Elaine Marie (Ricardo) Jordan, 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grand-children. Visitation and services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale. Visitation will be Friday, December 1 from 5-7pm. Services will be Saturday, December 2 at 9am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014
