Felix Clayton Sparks, son of James Alfred & Alice Allen "Milstead" Sparks, was born in Cooke or Montague County, Texas. Clayton never married. He died at the age of 28 in a hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma and was buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Felix's brothers and sisters are; Marion Benjamin Sparks, Mary May "Sparks" Johnson, Bertha Ann "Sparks" Edmister who is buried in the Tecumseh Cemetery, Laura Lee Sparks, James Herbert Sparks died in WWI and buried in France, Robert Gian Sparks & William Larkin Sparks. He had one half brother, Lester Horace Williams, son of James Alfred Sparks and his 2nd wife, Norma Iona Williams.

The Pilgrims Rest Cemetery is located in Cleveland County, two and one half miles south of Newalla, Oklahoma. Newalla is located in Oklahoma County.
