ALBERT – Calvin E. Brady, 96, died Jan. 11, 2013 at Rush County Memorial Hospital LTC, La Crosse.

He was born Jan. 17, 1916 on the family farm at Albert, the son of Thomas C. and Dena Anna (Budde) Brady.

He married Irene Mildred Hagerman May 12, 1942 at Albert.

He was a farmer and lifetime Albert resident. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Church Council, Rush County Nursing Home Board, Walnut View School Board, and Albert Senior Citizens' Center. He was Sunday School superintendent and was active in many other church activities.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Brady, of the home; two sons, Lee Brady and his wife Jane, Albert; Dale Brady and his wife Nancy, Albert; a son-in-law, Charles McClure; six grandchildren, Bret Brady, Shannon DeWolf, Brandy Maneth, Kim Duran, Trudy Cooley, and Charlene Regan; 14 great-grandchildren, Garret Brady, Carly Brady, Morgan Brady, Bryce Maneth, Kolton Maneth, Hannah Duran, Raymond Cooley, Tommy Cooley, Arlen Cooley, Calvin Cooley, Colin Regan, Taylor Regan, Dalton Regan, and Tristan Regan.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene McClure; three brothers, Delvan Brady, Glen Brady, and Milton Brady; and three sisters, Mable Brady, Vida Fleming, and Julia Hagerman.

A Prayer Service is scheduled at 6 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Albert with Pastor Patricia Reep officiating. Interment will be Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Albert. Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church or Rush County Memorial Hospital LTC, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
