Fred Nelson Fox was my Grandfather the son of Lewis Taylor Fox and Sarah Elizabeth Higgins. He had four brothers John David, Leonard, Charles, Louis Taylor, and two sisters Rachel (Laura),and Leah. He married Anna Jane White July 23, 1913 in Hendricks CO., IN.

Their children were Virgil, Veston, Lawrence, Vernon, Arnold, Donald, Orville, Horace, Dorothy, Maxine, Doris and Marjorie.

I never knew my Grandpa he passed before I was born, but I heard many wonderful stories about him from my Mother and aunts and uncles so I felt as if I knew him, and I wish I could have because I know it would have been a pleasure to have been around him. Grandpa loved animals and had many dogs. He also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.

Our father, who art in heaven,
hear this little prayer,
and reach across the miles today
that stretch from here to there,
so I may feel much closer
to those I am fondest of,
and they may know I think of them
with thankfulness and love.
and help all people everywhere
who must often dwell apart
to know that they are together
in the haven of the heart.
