Fred William Utrecht, 94, Centertown, died Dec. 14, 2001, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born May 24, 1907, in Koeltztown, a son of John and Christine Holterman Utrecht. He was married Feb. 20, 1946, in St. Martins to Mildred Cecilia Schroer, who survives at the home.
He was a mechanic and attendant at B & H Garage and Luke’s APCO until he retired in 1972. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include: four daughters, Mary Brown, Linda Huhman and Janet Rademan, all of St. Martins, and Rita Kauffman, Jefferson City; two sons, Bill Utrecht, Centertown, and Jim Utrecht, Jefferson City; two sisters, Josephine Heckman, St. Thomas, and Pauline Rackers, Jefferson City; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Martin Catholic Church. The Rev. Edwin A Schmidt will officiate. Burial with full military rites will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
