Alva Andrus Funeral Rites Held Thursday
Services for the late Alva Andrus, 57 years old, who died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Elloie Miller of Gaston, Monday December 16, were held at the Macy Chapel this afternoon at two o'clock. The Rev. M. Ulman was in charge of the services.
The late Mr. Andrus is survived by two brothers and three sisters, J. Andrus, Monmouth, and Nelson Andrus, Roseburg, and Flora Wakefield, Dayton, Myrtle Thomas, Portland, and Elloie Miller, of Gaston.
