Rev. Walker's second marriage was to Margaret Baker d/o of Dr. Roderick Baker (4-14-1844) and Elizabeth 'Betsy' Johnson (1849-1939). Their children were Asbel, Frank, John, Elizabeth 'Marie', Sherman, and Marguerite.
Rev. John W. Walker is interred at the Andrew Combs Cemetery on Second Creek. He owned plats at Riverside Cemetery, but wanted to be buried on Second Creek where he had lived most of his adult life and was happiest.
At Andrew Combs Cemetery, Rev. Walker's two wives, are buried on either side of him as was his wish and that of our family. Our Grandmother Margaret, although she lived in Dublin and Cambridge City Indiana with her daughter, Marie and her husband, Chester, requested to be buried beside her husband.
