Services for Chester "Shorty" Anderson, 83, Clovis, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Sandia Baptist Church. Dr. Herbert Bergstrom will officiate.
Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Steed-Todd Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mr. Anderson died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1995, at Plains Medical/Clovis. He was born June 4, 1911, in Kerrville, Texas. He married Mable Ilamoreaux on Oct. 8, 1941, in Santa Rosa. She preceded him in death May 9, 1990. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Leonard and Linda Anderson, Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter and her husband, Charlotte and Randall Hamilton, Clovis; four grandsons, William Anderson, Fort Riley, Kan., Donnie Anderson, Corpus Christi, and Christopher Hamilton and Jeremy Hamilton, both of Clovis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Casket bearers will be Sanford Wagner, W. Y. Mitchell, Gary Mitchell, Cecil Nolen, Don Follis and Alan Hamilton.
Honorary bearers will be all friends.
