SUMMERVILLE - Muriel Adele Mauck Ares, 88, widow of Joseph Patrick Ares, of Summerville, SC, died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, January 15, 2013 at 2 o'clock at Summerville Cemetery.
Mrs. Ares was born October 19, 1924 in Chicago, IL, a daughter of Russell Mauck and Adele Muehl Mauck. She was a retired secretary for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). She was Roman Catholic.
Survivors include her brother, Warren R. Mauck and her nephew, Craig Russell Mauck both of Saginaw, MI. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her two sons, Philip Ares and Cary Steven Scott. Arrangements by PARKS FUNERAL HOME, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
