He had been employed by the New York Central Railroad, retiring in 1950. Mr Gabbard had attneded first Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, formerly mary Thornton, whom he married Oct 8, 1913 in Brookville two sons, William H. of Cambridge city, and Harry of Connersville three bothers, James, Lee, and Henry. two sisters Ollie Lunsford and Phoebe wolf five grandchildren and ten great grand children.
