Richard Carlton "Pork Chop" Stover, II, age 33 of Obion, died Thursday, Jan. 10 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Minnick Bible Church. Rev. James Robert Gunter and Rev. Ralph Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Minnick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mr. Stover was born in Martin, TN, July 31, 1979, the son of Richard Carlton Stover of Obion and Barbara Daniel Montgomery of Pennsbro, WV.

He was a member of the Laurel Baptist Church in Columbia, SC and an US Marine.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Kristen Stover Alexander and husband David of Troy; two nieces, Tatum and Charlotte Rose Alexander of Troy; a grandmother, Freeda Stover of Obion; a great-grandmother, Bonnie Morris of Memphis and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard Stover,and Robert and Ann Daniel.
