Virginia Marie DeCarlo Sedera, 90, of Shinnston, departed this life on Friday (Jan. 11, 2013) at the Pierpont Center in Fairmont.
She was born in Fairmont on June 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Michael DeCarlo and Christine DeCarlo.
Her husband, Pete Sedera, preceded her in death in September of 1992.
Mrs. Sedera is survived by one son, Paul Sedera and his wife Linda of Shinnston; two grandchildren, Andrew Sedera and his wife LeAnn, and Anne Wooddell and her husband Michael; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Scuibbo of Fairmont and Mary Adduccio of Fairmont.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sedera was preceded in death by five siblings.
In keeping with Mrs. Sedera's wishes, she will be cremated.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a date and time to be announced.
