Jack was employed as a union painter with Local #549 for 39 years before retiring in 1991. He attended old Erie Tech High School at W. Tenth and Sassafras Streets. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Club, American Legion Carl Neff Post #571 and the VFW Ronald Martin Post #3390.
His brother, Donald Faley preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Carol Larson Faley, two daughters, Karen Wasson and her husband, Robert of Wattsburg and Kathy Butler of Erie and two grandchildren.
Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
