Ralph M. Brown, 87, died Thursday morning, March 17 at his home on Schroon River Rd. A past grand of Warrensburg Lodge, 488, I.O.O.F., he has been a member for nearly 60 years. He is a former member of the Warrensburg Central School Board of Education, former town superintendent of highways and had been a former member of the executive board of the Warren County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Evelyn Brown; one son, Arthur; and three grandchildren, Mark, Judy and Janls Brown, all of Warrensburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Orton and McCloskey Funeral Home with the Rev. T. Francis Smith, pastor emeritus of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in Warrensburg Cemetery.
Members of Lodge 488, I.O.O.F. held ritualistic services at the funeral home on Friday evening. Members of Hackensack Rebekah Lodge 442 paid their respects.
