Letha Glass, 87, died at 2:05 AM May 12, 1993, in Lafayette Health Care Center. She had been in failing health six years.
Born Sept. 10, 1905, in Colburn, she had lived in Lafayette since 1945, moving there from Delphi. Her [second] marriage was on March 5, 1943, in West Palm Beach, Fla, to Homer Glass, who died in 1988.
She was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia (Clawson) Bloyd of Lafayette; a son, Herbert L. Clawson of Colfax; a sister, Irene H. Graham of Bradenton, FL; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a grandson. Services and burial were Friday in Lafayette.
