Delta resident Patricia G. Mahan, 71, died on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Willow Tree Care Center in Delta. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Delta with pastor James Conley. Interment will follow at Delta City Cemetery. Patricia was the bookkeeper for the Delta County Department of Health & Human Services for many years. Patricia is survived by her husband, Merle Mahan of Delta; son, Scott Evans of Eckert; daughters, Brenda Case of Montrose, Sherrie McMillan and spouse John of Delta, and Lisa McGuire and spouse Paul of Leesville, S.C.; brother, Bill Byers and spouse Patty of Johnstown, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
