He was a retired engineer from the former Steelton-Highspire Railroad and a retired employee from TRW; a World War II Army veteran; and a member of East Harrisburg VFW Post 1718 and TRW Pioneers.
Surviving are his wife, Geraldine F. Baughman; four daughters, Jean Marie Packman of Harrisburg, Barbara Dell of Steelton, Linda Schmitt of Hummelstown and Jerrie Lynn Baer of Dillsburg; two brothers, Warren Baughman of Steelton and Howard Baughman of Lewisberry; three sisters, Fleta Pilsitz of Royalton, Elsie Milletics of Enhaut and Alma Treon of Middletown; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
