SHREVEPORT – Services will be conducted for Mr. Marcellus Leslie Kerlin, Jr. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept.23, 1986, at 3 p.m. Officiating will be the Reverend Warren Blakeman of Broadmoor Methodist Church.
Mr. Kerlin died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1986, following a brief illness. He was a native of Homer, La., a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Geology and worked for Shell Oil Co. until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Fortson Kerlin, a son, Dr. Marc L. Kerlin, a daughter, Sue Kerlin of New Orleans, a sister, Christine H. Hill of Dallas, and three grandchildren, Kathy Martin, Marc Kerlin, IV and Kim Kerlin.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Live Oak Retirement Center.
