Everett S. Appleby, 97, of Tamworth died June 16, 2000 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.
He was born October 19, 1902 in Seekonk, Mass., and lived in Swansea, Mass., for many years. In 1991 Mr. Appleby moved to Tamworth to live with his daughter, Miriam Appleby.
He was a 1924 graduate of Bryant College and was employed as a controller at Fleet Bank for 50 years.
Appleby was predeceased by his wife Bertha (Farrington) Appleby.
A graveside service was held in the Seekonk Cemetery, Seekonk, Mass.
