She was the daughter of William Henry and Johnnie L. "Ruby" (McNatt) Reese and married William Thomas Whitsett - 8 Nov 1916 - Lincoln Co., Tennessee. She later married Stanley Roe - 30 Mar 1940 - Lincoln County, Tennessee. Her obituary follows:


Mrs. Beulah Mae Reese Roe, 84, of Franklin and formerly of Fayetteville, died January 29 at Williamson County Hospital after a short illness.


The funeral was Saturday, February 1, at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Emerson Wiles officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.


She was a native of Lincoln County, daughter of the late Henry and Johnnie McNatt Reese. Mrs. Roe was a member of the Church of Christ.


Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Glenn Gentry of Old Hickory; a brother, Edgar Reese of Fayetteville; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Sumners of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
