Mrs. Ann M. Burkett, 69, died on Monday (1/18/1965) in Roswell Park Memorial hospital in Buffalo.

She was born in Brasher Falls on Dec. 6, 1895, a daughter of Henry and Margaret Lantry. She graduated from St. Joseph's. Academy in Brasher Falls and the Potsdam Normal School. She married Wilbur L. Burkett, Brockville, PA. He was a well-known photographer and for years conducted a studio in Massena. He died in 1942.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick's; Church, Brasher Fails, and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of that Church, She was a school teacher. She has taught in Brasher, Norwood- Norfolk Central School System, and for the past 12 years at Clifton-Fine Central School at. Star Lake.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel Henry of Mission Hills, CA; Michael J. of Brasher Falls; Charles J. of Winthrop; two daughters, Mrs. Chester (Christina) Tacka of Tonawanda and Mrs. Joseph (Ann Marie) Georgi of Massena; two brothers,
Michael Lantry of Tyngsboro, MA and Bernard C. Lantry of Baltimore, MD and 18 grandchildren.
