BROWN — Robert A. Brown, 87, of Cortland Road, Groton, N.Y., died Sept. 23, 2008, at the Groton Nursing Facility after an extended illness. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Groton City Church. Interment will be in the Groton Rural Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m Monday evening at the Zirbel Funeral Home, 115 Williams St., Groton.
