Perry was found dead in the Paris wagon yard, presumably of a heart attack. Woodby was an alias when he came to Paris from Missouri around 1880. With some investigation, it is possible his real name was Thomas Turner of Orrick, Missouri. His mother's maiden name was Creason. Possibly Diadema Sarah Creason. His father was Thomas Turner Sr, who died before 1870 in the Civil War.
