Funeral services were held for Ruby E Fairley, 104, of Lucedale on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Sigler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Mixon Mizell Cemetery.
A mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and a retired caregiver, she died March 19, 2009.
She is survived by her son, H. B. (Mary) Cowart, of Gadsden, Ala.; her daughters, Nan Fairley of Poplarville, Ruby Fairley of Lumberton and Nina Wells of Laurel; 16 grandchildren; a special great grandson Cody Causey; and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
she was preceded in death by 4 children, Jimmie Fairley, Jessie Fairley, L. B. Cooley and Ann Kaiser.
