Mrs. Ruth E. Arndt, 92, of Rest Haven Nursing Home Schuylkill Haven on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, entered into God's care at Rest Haven Nursing Home, North Manheim, PA.
Born in New Ringgold, PA, on Oct. 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Clayton and Mable (Frantz) Deibert, she was the widow of Castor T. Arndt.
She was employed as a machine operator at Former Onyx Blouse Co., Orwigsburg, PA, for many years, retiring in early 1983.
She attended school in New Ringgold and then the Tamaqua area.
She was a member of Freidens Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Ringgold, PA, and was a lifetime member of the New Ringgold Community Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary
Surviving are two sons, and daughter-in-law,(LIVING) (widow of Kean M. Arndt).
She was preceded in death by her son, Kean M. Arndt. six
Grandchildren and fourteen Great-grandchildren. Interment services will be held in Friedens Lutheran Cemetery, New Ringgold, PA.
