Hugh R. Manahan, a life long resident of North Long Branch, died at the Long Branch hospital last Wednesday of typhoid fever. He had been sick about a month and was taken to the hospital nine days before his death. Mr. Manahan was 53 years old and was the first of a family of twelve children to die. He leaves a widow and three children. Jesse P. Manahan of Red Bank was his brother.
