Jack Kottmyer, of 425 North Hanover Street, died Tuesday evening at his home. He was 64 years old.

A Member of the First Lutheran Church, he was a heating and plumbing contractor in the Carlisle area for many years.

Born April 26, 1905 in York, he was the son of the late Charles and Katy Thompson Kottmyer.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Laury Kottmyer; three daughters, Mrs. Earl S. Jordan, 409 West Louther Street, Mrs. Ray Shaub, RD5, Dover, and Mrs. John C. Patterson of Silver Spring, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Beisicker of Thomasville and Mrs. Esther Sayers, RD, Dover; four brothers; Floyd and Kenneth of Dover, Luther of Lawrence, Mass., and Edward of Lancaster; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. from the First Lutheran Church, Carlisle, conducted by the Rev. Thomas W. Hurlocker and the Rev. C. Ernest Brooks. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements in charge of G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street.
